Person and social world are inseparable. Person who has no fixed core but is embodied and comes into being through actions and the creation of meaning

Qualitative- aims to understand people’s perceptions and experiences of their ‘lived world’
Phenomenological- methods
Analysis of people’s lives experiences through themes recounted in rich detail. The analyst is reflexive. Focus on spatially, temporality, embodiment, intersubjectivity.
