A
important information on the theology and the practice of baptism
* Biblical connections/typologies (NT: suffering of Jesus [water form his pierced side] & OT: Noah’s ark, journey through the Red Sea, bitter water made sweet by wood, journey through the river Jordan),
* Preparation and conditions,
* Time for performing baptism (preferably Easter, but also Pentecost and any time),
* Nature of the ritual,
* Philosophical aspects (e.g. ‘water’= cleansing substance, it is fertile, etc.)
