A

It’s not a defect. Just a deviation of a parameter that is useful for future reference.
Yes, you consult MOC before

22
Q

What is a red flag report and what should you do?

A

It is a serious ASR that might have consequence on eJ’s operation. You have to contact ICC that will make You consult a Duty Pilot to confirm wether it’s appropriate or not

23
Q

Does positioning prior to operating counts as FDP? And as a sector?

A

Yes
No

24
Q

Minimum RFFS

A

A319/A320 6
A321 7

25
Q

Acceptable RFFS downgrade for planning purposes

A

5 may be acceptable for low traffic airports
Departure and destination in case of Notam for not more than 72h: 2 categories below applicable category
Alternates: non UK: 4
UK: 5

26
Q

What is a suitable aerodrome?

A

An aerodrome adequate for operations and weather permissible (wx above applicable minima and with runway surface report being satisfactory, where a safe landing is possible)

27
Q

When do we need a TO altn?

A

Has to be within 320 nm
It is needed when wx is below minima for a single engine landing (cat 3 single) and also considering performance and applicable minima)

28
Q

Order of manuals

A

OFP/ company notams/crew alerts
NTC
OEB
OMA/OMB/CSPM
FCOM
FCTM

29
Q

What is extra fuel?

A

It is fuel added by ICC on the OFP, to take care of a forseeable delay (curfew, longer routing, ecc ecc)

30
Q

What is additional fuel?

A

Can be fuel for 15 min at 1500 ft if no alternate is filed;
Or fuel to take care of possible fuel burn increases in case of emer descents or engine failures (e.g. KEF)

31
Q

How long is the daily inspection valid for?

A

If done after 18 UTC, for 2 days plus the remainder of the day. For example, If done at 19 z on 28/9 it will be valid up until 23.59z of 30/9

32
Q

What should you do if you get handed a NOTOC by the dispatcher?

A

Refuse the item. We don’t hold approval for dangerous goods

33
Q

If no SCF data are available, what contingency do we use?

A

Greater of
-5% of trip fuel
-5 min at 1500 AAL in std conditions

34
Q

Can you fly without CM?

A

Yes, but only down route. 50 pax per CC, not including the CM if he wants to fly back (after being checked by a doctor). The new CM will be an upranker or the most senior. He is at the front and the other 2 at the back. No fueling and boarding

35
Q

Limitations of controlled rest in flight

A

45 min maximum (30 min of actual sleep). After that 20 min of recovery period (sole control of the A/C shall not be assigned to this crew member).
This period should terminate at least 30 min before TOD

36
Q

General exceptions for dangerous goods

A

Items for airworthiness (fire ext, FAK, oxy, slides…)
Aerosols, alcoholic beverages, PED…
Dry ice
Sanitizers for cleaning

37
Q

Are there limitations for batteries of mobility aid that were removed?

A

A removed battery must be less than 300 W/h. One spare not exceeding 300 Wh or 2 spares not exceeding 160 Wh

38
Q

How is route MORA calculated?

A

1000 ft clearance below 5000, 2000 ft above.
It’s written on ofp

39
Q

How is MGA calculated?

A

1000 ft clearance below 6000 ft,
2000 ft above 6000.

40
Q

What about controlling RVR?

A

TDZ is the relevant rvr for type of approach. For rollout guidance app (cat 3 no dh) mid point is 75. Otherwise, for all other approaches it should be 125 mid and 75 last

41
Q

Minimum distance to TS

A

In terminal areas, 3 NM.
Above 20000ft, 10 nm
Above 250000ft 15 nm
Above 30000ft 20 nm
Vertically, at least 5000 ft

42
Q

Before entering RVSM, the primary altimeters should be within…

A
