Staffing Hours: The ‘Peanut’ Law
A
In Virginia, all new clients must read and sign a statement on a separate piece of paper that discloses the hospital’s staffing hours.
- So client knows if no one is there overnight
- Includes who to contact after hours
- Copy in medical record
- Must be separate from consent form
