What is thoracic outlet syndrome?
Group of disorders that occur when blood vessels or nerves in space between collarbone and first rib (thoracic outlet) become compressed causing pain in shoulder and neck and numbness in fingers
What are some common causes of thoracic outlet syndrome?
- Physical trauma
- Repetitive injuries
What is carpel tunnel syndrome?
- Local compression of the segment of the median nerve within the carpal tunnel
- Pain weakness, numbness of hand and wrist, radiating up the arm
