Process (5 steps)
A
- Define the characteristic
- Decide what behaviors provide evidence of the characteristic
- Determine if the reconstruction includes these behaviors
- If yes, you have an argument that supports this characteristic
- Look for behaviors that wouldn’t support this characteristic

Knowledge of the victim indicators
A
Using the victim’s name, knowing their schedule, evidence of overkill, absence of forced entry, willingness to get into the offender’s vehicle

Avoids security measures, knows the schedules, complex travel routes, location of valuables, employee shift changes
