What order should you use when viewing OPTs?
A
- Make sure small L in bottom right corner
- Begin on upper right quadrant, work across upper arch
- Look at lower right quadrant, work across lower arch

What 3 features should be included in clinical entry of radiographs?
A
Clinical notes must include:
- Justification for taking radiograph
- Quality assess the radiograph
- Findings of radiograph
Includes teeth erupted, unerupted and developing cryps evident.

How do you quality assess a radiograph?
A
Given a QA score.
- Grade 1 = excellent
- Grade 2 = some issues but still clinically useful
- Grade 3 = needs to be retaken

How can we determine patient age from an OTP?
A
Based on which teeth have or have not erupted.

Patient’s 1st molars erupted and roots complete, upper central root apices still open.
How old are they?
A
9-10
- 1st molars root complete = 9
- Upper central roots incomplete = not yet 10

A
