What is the difference between fusion and gemination?
Fusion- The union between dentine and/or enamel of two or more separate teeth
Gemination- The partial development of two teeth from a single tooth bud following incomplete division
What is concrescence?
The roots of two or more teeth are united by cementum alone after formation of the crowns
What is Taurodontism?
The pulp chamber has a greater apico-occlusal height than normal and no cervical constriction aka LONG PULP
What happens if you’re exposed to excess fluoride?
Hypoplastic / hypomineralised enamel
White flecks / patches / striations
