  • obsessive thoughts, words, or phrases and cause emotional distress & disrupt thought process
  • obsessive images of violent, sexual or disturbing nature that appear repeatedly
  • obsessional beliefs based on irrational assumptions
  • obsessional ruminations or repeated worried behaviors
  • obsessive impulses incl. thoughts of aggression toward others, self-harm or humiliating behaviors
  • obsessive fears or intense anxiety about specific objects, situations or locations or performing specific acts
  • compulsive rituals: repetitive actions to produce relief from obsessive thoughts
