Hordeolum (stye)

Xanthelasma
Symptoms of this condition may include tilt of head backward, eye fatigue, drooping lid/s, diplopia, difficulty closing the eye completely
Ptosis
An inflammation of the lacrimal sac which is often due to an obstruction of the nasolacrimal duct.
Dacryocystitis
Causes facial pain, a general feeling of fatigue and not feeling well for a few days before a blister-like rash appears along trigeminal cranial nerve
Herpes zoster ophthalmicus
Symptoms of this condition include itching and burning, grittiness, lid crusting and marked redness of the lid margins and conjunctiva
Blepharitis
Very common in infants often causing parents to think the child has crossed eyes
Epicanthus or epicanthal folds
Chronic inflammation of meibomian gland causing the lid to swell
Chalazion
Certain medications such as, antihistamines, anti-anxiety drugs, hormone replacements and medications for depression can cause or exacerbate this condition because they can decrease lacrimal gland secretion.
Keratitis sicca
Inward turned lower lid which irritate the conjunctiva and cornea because of trichiasis.
Entropion
This outward turning and sagging of the lower lids is very common in the elderly. The aging process can cause part or all of the orbicularis oculi muscle to lose its tone, which allows the sagging to occur.
Ectropion
This is a misdirection of an eyelash(es)
Trichiasis
This is a well-defined pigmented or non-pigmented congenital lesion.
nevus
This is a viral wart. They usually appear near margins of the eyelids and can be pigmented by melanin.
