Objection List - Non-Surgeons Flashcards

1
Q

I dont see why I need a surgeon partner.

A

While CTR-US and TFR-US have very low complication rates, the potential for complications does exist. If you have a need for a second opinion or there is a post op complication, you are going to want to have a trusted partner to consult that has you and your patients best interest in mind.

If still not satisfied: Let me ask you a question, if you had a patient develop a post-op infection that persisted, where would you send them? Would you agree that sending them to the emergency room would not be an optimal patient pathway?

Q

It will take me 2 months to find 10 patients to launch, by that time the first few patients will have gone to someplace else to be treated, can I just treat the 2 patients I have right now?

A

Out of our top 10 physician users by volume, half are non-surgeons. Many of them were in your position starting out. Let’s start a discussion about where your patients come from? Do you have relationships with PCP’s or pain management physicians? these can be great referring physicians and are often excited about the prospect of sending their patients for a less invasive procedure. Secondly, remember the slide I showed you showing the screening open house? Many physicians use those to find their first patients, we can schedule one for a month from now if thats something that would make you feel more confident.
