All chemical reactions performed by the body and the energy released or absorbed in the process.

Acceptable Macronutrient Distribution Range, it describes the portion if the energy intake that should come from each macronutrient.

Basal Metabolic Rate - It is the rate of energy expenditure by humans at rest.
