Q

how does plate size and utensil size relate to portion size?

A

it relates to hunger because the idea is if you have a small plate and utensil that your brain will thing that you are fuller “quicker” even though you have less food. Because you are eating all the food on a little plate rather than a lot of food on a big plate.
