what is the goal of ASK, and getting to know your client?

what is the best way to do goal setting?
- it is best that if someone has a outcome goal they want to achieve, that they also have a behaviour goal that goes with that outcome goal. this is important because you need a behaviour goal to work inorder for an outcome goal to be achieved.
what are 3 examples of behaviour goals?
- I will eat breakfast everyday
- doing one hip flexor stretch daily for 30 days
- eat every 2-3 hours, even if I am not Hungary.
in step 5 ASSIST, what is the purpose?
- to provide support.
- this could include someone having barriers and how you can support them.
what is the purpose of the barrier to physical activity tool?

- help identify which barriers are going to be the most challenging for someone to become more physically active.
