Q

What are the anti-inflammatory properties of ACTH?

A

Q

How is ACTH regulated?

A

The hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis controls ACTH levels. The hypothalamus releases corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH) when cortisol levels are low, which stimulates the pituitary gland to secrete ACTH.
