Fy(a-b-)
Duffy null. Common in West Africans and gives resistance to P vivax infection.
Jk(a-b-) or JK3-
Kidd null that is rare in most pops. Often detected after being immunized to Kidd in pregnancy or blood transfusion
In(Lu)
Dominant Lutheran null. Mutation in EKLF (adds antigens of Lu, P, and I groups onto cells)
Recessive Lu
True Lu NULL. Normal functioning other antigens and makes Anti-LU3
X-linked Lu
Rare seen in only one family. X-linked inhibitor of lutheran antigens only. Trace Lub found on cells
Leach Type
Gerbich null. You will see elliptocytosis
