- easy bruising, tarry tools/coffee-ground emesis - gi bleed
do we give nsaids to a patient who has peptic ulcer disease?
WHY?
never!
prostaglainds help coat the stomach lining, but nsaids are destroying these prostaglandins, so itll increase the risk of bleeding and worsen the ulcer
do we take nsaids with food or no food?
with food
can you take nsaids with a ppi?

can we give nsaids for patietns with renal problems?
nope!
