Physical activity guidelines of adults
- Do something, start slow and build up
- Be active on most (5) or all days
- Accumulate 150-300 minutes (2 1/2-5 hours) of moderate activity
OR - 75-150 minutes (1 1/4-2 1/2 hours) of vigorous activity each week
- Muscle strengthening activities on at least 2 days a week

- At least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity everyday
- Variety of aerobic activity including some vigorous activity
- On at least 3 days a week, activities that strengthen muscle and bone
- For additional health benefits, up to several hours per day

Double. 30 mins vigorous = 1 hour moderate
When weight is lost, how many minutes of physical activity per day is required to ensure it stays off?
60-90 acclimated minutes of moderate to vigorous activity is required to ensure it stays off.
