can you give some context about the poet and poem?

A

poet returns to a place that’s has changed physically but is exactly the same as he remembers it. Afrika’s parents died and he changed his name when moved to foster families . he is a member of the Mandela African national congress and was arrested for terrorism offence in 1987 and was banned from writing or public speaking for 5 years.
