- Forest Laws- royal forests, must pay for hunting rights, took away fundamental freedom to hunt/gaze, had to pay to hunt there
- Poaching- hunting on royal forests, seen as a social crime as they needed food
- Leaving home- peasants cant move away
- Outlaws- people who ran away from their village
- Fewer decisions made by communities on laws
