Q

What is the Bank Angle protection

A
  1. Up to 33* bank angle is maintained with side stick neutral and Auto Pitch Trim is working
  2. Above 33* side stick inputs are needed to maintain bank angle and altitude. If side stick is released, bank angle returns to 33* automatically
  3. Bank angle limited to 67*

  3. Pitch Down authority is reduced to zero
  4. AP disconnects at VMO +15kts or MMO + 0.04

Q

What is Low Speed protection

A
  1. Ensures that the aircraft can not be stalled in Normal Law
  2. 4 stages
  3. VLS is is the lowest selectable speed
  4. Alpha Prot, top of amber/black, speed will be maintained if side stick is released
  5. If side stick is pulled aft in Alpha Prot, Alpha Floor is activated commanding TOGA regardless of thrust lever position
