How long is the “normal” QT interval?
< 50% of an R-R interval
What does an inverted T wave suggest?
Ischemia

Necrosis/Infarction
What does a tall, pointed, prominent T wave suggest?
Ischemia
What does ST elevation suggest?
Pattern of Injury
Which leads are used to determine the axis of deviation?
1 and aVF
What findings would be visible if there was a right axis deviation?
- deflection in lead 1, + deflection in lead aVF
What findings would be visible if there was a left axis deviation?
+ deflection in lead 1, - deflection in aVF
What findings would be visible if there was a “normal” axis of deviation?
+ deflection in lead 1, + deflection in aVF
Which lead is aVF perpendicular to?
