What must we remember about setting min prof altitudes on non precision approaches ?

A

Always round up the altitude that goes in the box, so it ends in a zero. Example 1405= 1410

Note . The altitude that goes in the FCP and the BARO are actual altitudes or mins.

How must a RNAV/VNAV approach be flown inside the FAF?

A

It must be flown in NAV and PROF with the autopilot engaged .

What are the main things to remember when shooting a RNAV/GPS approach.

A

Min prof alt for the box must end in zero….Baro and FCP alt are actual altitudes .

RNP mins set to 0.3

LNAV/VNAV mins require using prof and the autopilot/FD engaged FAF inbound.

GI must be displayed on the ND.
