A
multiple fractures of varying ages with various amount of callus or healing or multiple trips to A+E with different injuries

other suspicious features
A
- inconsistent changing events
- discrepancy of history between carers
- history is not consistent with the injury
- injuries non-consistent with the age of the chip (i.e. femoral shaft fractures in children under 2)
- multiple bruises of various ages
- rib fractures
- metaphysical fractures in infants
- atypical injuries: cigarette burns, genital injuries, torn frenulum, dental injuries
