The gut is the digestive tract.

The coelom is a body cavity that contains the internal organs.

Bilateral symmetry is when both sides of an organism are symmetrical.
What is radial symmetry?
Radial symmetry is when all appendages are organised around the center of an organism.
What is asymmetry?
Asymmetry is when an organism cannot mirror its right and left sides with symmetry, and does not have limbs organised around the center.
What is a sponge?
A sponge is the most simple invertebrate. It has no tissues gut, or neurons, but it has pores for absorbing small plants and animals.
What is a cnidarian?
Cnidarians are invertebrates with stinging cells.
What are flatworms?
Flatworms are simple worms divided into three groups: Marine flatworms, flukes, and tapeworms.
What are roundworms?
Roundworms have long, slim, and round bodies which have simple nervous systems.
What are mollusks?
Mollusks are animals like snails, slugs, clams, oysters, squids, and octopuses.
What is an open circulatory system?
A circulatory system in which the circulatory fluids are not contained entirely within vessels.
