- management of chronic disease e.g. Asthma, COPD
- implementing preventative measures e.g. BP checks
- the extra services offered e.g. Child and maternity services
- the quality and productivity of the service, including avoidance of emergency admissions to hospital
- compliance with minimum time a GP should spend with each patient at each appointment
What training/qualification a required to become a practice nurse?
3 years nurse training to achieve either diploma or degree

National qualifications and credit framework (NCF) Level 2/3 in healthcare services
