To understand the developments of many new religions which emerge in Britain in the mid - late 20th century.
What did Wallis argue about traditional typologies and NRMs?
Some new religious movements didn’t easily fit into the ideal types set out in the traditional typology, so instead created a new typology where they were categorised into world rejecting/affirming/accommodating.
