Tic
Sudden rapid jerky purposless Movement involving limbs, trunk or face. Occurs at a regular intervals, not rhythmic are repetitive, more convulsive limited some are spontaneous and some are initiated; all our accentuated by voluntary actsDisappears with sleep. Common with Sydenham cotea and Huntington’s disease
Chorea
Dystonic movements are similar to athetoid movements, but often involve larger parts of the body, including the trunk. Grotesque, twisted postures may result. Causes include drugs such as phenothiazines, primary torsion dystonia and illustrated, spasmodic torticollis
