Neuranatomy Flashcards
Describe the location of the choroid plexus
Inferior walls of the lateral ventricles
Superior wall of the third ventricle
Posterior wall of the fourth ventricle
How does CSF move from the lateral ventricles to the third ventricle?
Via the interventricular foramen
How does CSF move from the third ventricle to the fourth ventricle?
Via the cerebral aqueduct
How does CSF move out of the fourth ventricle?
Via the lateral and medial apertures
How is CSF eliminated?
Via granulations in the arachnoid mater, which allow the fluid to move into the superior sagittal sinus
Which arteries feed the circle of willis?
