Q

During what process of network communication is the VLAN frame added/removed?

A

The VLAN tag is added to the Ethernet frame at the first Trunk. It then passes through to the second VLAN trunk. The VLAN tag is then removed from the Ethernet frame at the second trunk, and travels to it’s destination.
