A network segment where simultaneous data transmissions collide with each other.
*Expected to happen on half-duplex networks.

What is a broadcast domain?
A
A network segment in which all nodes can reach each other by broadcast at the data link layer.
Switches/bridges will pass the broadcast along.
The broadcast will stop at the router.
