Q

What is the reflex action?

A

involves the stimulus, pressure receptor, spinal cord, the effector (muscle) which reacts.
stimulus → receptor → sensory neurone → association neurone → motor neurone → effector → response

A

a protective, automatic and rapid response to a stimulus.
