brain, spinal cord, spinal nerves, cranial nerves. Controls consciousness and mental activities. Seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling, tasting. All body movements and facial expressions.

system of nerves that connects the peripheral (outer) parts of the body to the central nervous system. Sensory & motor nerves. carry impulses, or messages to and from Central Nervous System

controls the involuntary muscles, regulates the action of the smooth muscles, glands, blood vessels heart, and breathing
