Median Nerve injury s/s?
A
- decreased palmar surface sensation of Thumb, Index, middle finger, and lateral aspect of ring finger.
- unable to oppose thumb
- chronic - ape hand deformity
Causes:
- AC IV
- Carpal tunnel syndrome
- elbow hyperextension
- forced elbow extensioning post-NMB admin

Radial Nerve injury s/s and causes?
A
Wrist drop from:
- external IV pole compression
- excessive BP cuff cycling
- tourniquet
- tightly tucked sheets

Long Thoracic injury?
A
Presents as Scapular Winging (Arises from C5-C7)
From:
- Trauma
- Neuropathy (possibly viral)
