Taylor et el- agreed with Marxists - capitalists society is based on exploring wc
- state makes & unforced laws with the interests of capitalists class & criminalise the wc
However their view also differs from Marxists - argues that Marxists is deterministic- driven to commit crime out of economic necessity- Taylor believes crime happens due to the conscious choice of the actor
