If it is a period following an abbreviation, the period stays with the abbreviation and the terminator is after. But if the period is part of the sentence, the terminator comes before the period.
When can you use UEB contractions within Nemeth?
You can use a contraction after a single-word switch indicator.
What is the spacing format for a Nemeth only section of numbered, horizontal problems?
Begin in cell 1, use Nemeth numbering with punctuation indicator, runovers in cell 3, no blank lines between items.
What is the spacing format for instructions before a series of items in an exercise?
Begin in cell 5, with runovers in cell 3.
How do you format a list of numbered sentences that are primarily UEB but include some Nemeth?
Use UEB numbers to itemize/number the sentences but follow Nemeth fomat in spacing so start in line 1.

Do you use the English letter indicator with F or C in temperature?
Yes - when there is no period in the abbreviation. If there is a period (F. or C.) then you do NOT need the English letter indicator.
What is a baseline indicator and when do you use it with degrees?
baseline indicator is 5, used in expressions with degrees to indicate that the numbers/symbols are no longer superscripted (raised) - you need it if the degree sign is followed by another mathematical space
