What symptoms are associated with Neisseria Meningitidis?
Fever
Confusion and deliriousness
Vomitting
Meningococcaemia
Limb joint and muscle pain
Meningitis
Explain how Neisseria meningiditis is transmitted.
Transmission occurs via respiratory droplets allowing the bacteria to enter through the nose and throat invading the nasopharynx.
What preventative methods can be taken against Neisseria Meningiditis?
Vaccination
