- as long as the basement membrane is intact, carcinomas are considered at severe dysplasia

Pathways of Metastasis
A
- seeding via body cavities
- peritoneal cavity = most common - lymphatic spread
- follows natural drainage - hematogenous spread
- follows routes of venous drainage
- once it goes to blood can go anywhere
