What are the types of NCOERS?

1. Annual – Covers the NCO’s performance during a 12-month period.
2. Change of Rater – Occurs when the NCO’s rater changes due to reassignment, separation, or promotion.
3. Relief for Cause – Initiated when an NCO is relieved from a position due to unsatisfactory performance or misconduct.
4. Complete the Record – Used when an NCO is eligible for a personnel action, such as a board or promotion, and needs to document performance not covered by another NCOER.
5. 60-Day Rater Option – Can be used if a rater has supervised an NCO for at least 60 days and believes the evaluation is warranted. This is optional.
6. 60-Day Senior Rater Option – Can be initiated by the senior rater if they have served in that role for at least 60 days and wish to evaluate the NCO’s performance.
7. Temporary Duty, Special Duty, or Compassionate Reassignment – Used when an NCO is assigned to temporary duties that will impact their performance evaluation.
