He was thought to be a talented speaker and appointed main speaker, then in 1920 he was appointed chief of propaganda and then he became head of the party in 1921.

A list of amendments that showed the beliefs of the DAP made by Hitler and Anton Drexler.
What did the 25 point plan include?
Openly anti-Semetic and Anti-communism, Openly against the Treaty of Versailles Nationalist, Wanted Lebesnraum which was to expand German territory in the east. Also wanted to overthrow the Wiemar Republic and rearm Germany.
When Did the DAP change its name and what to?
In 1920 they changed the name to the Nationalist Socialist German Workers party or Nazi Party.
Where did the Nazi Party move to and why?
They moved to Bavaria as it had a right wing government and they became more structured.
When was the SA formed and what did they do?
SA formed in 1921 and they were a group of men from the friekorps and army whose job was to protect Nazi speakers but they also interrupted other parties speakers and were very threatening.
Why were Socialists attracted to the Nazi party?
They liked the promise of state industries and a welfare state.
Why were Nationalists attracted to the Nazi party?
They liked the divide of the German People from ‘foreigners’.
Who were attracted to the party as it was Anti-semetic?
Racists and people looking for someone to blame for the state of the country and the loss of the war.
