No, only a system failure can cause the FMS to revert to an asynchronous mode (SPLIT)
How is the FMS position initialised on power up?
Automatically. INIT page also provides the ability to LOAD various ref points if needed
FMS system powerup, what info displays on INIT page?
Date and time, software version, database status, sensor status/position
