Antihistamines (cyclizine and promethazine) or phenothiazines (prochlorperazine)

Maximum use is 7 days
Patient should be 35+kg
Causes QT prolongation
Fun fact: mettoclopramide is same dose 10mg 3x a day
What is metoclopramide
Does cross the BBB
Causes extra pyramidal side effects- do not use in Parkinson’s
10mg 3x a day
Minimum age is 18
Maximum use 5 days
