Pest
A destructive insect or other animal that attacks crops, foods, livestock

the process by which land changes into desert, for example because there has been too much farming activity on it or because a lot of trees have been cut down

A deep hole dug into the ground to reach a reservoir of groundwater

Shortage of water due to a long period without rain
