Pest
A destructive insect or other animal that attacks crops, foods, livestock
Backwater
An area of a country where little of interest happens.

Is the result of chronic rural outmigration, mostly by young adults, which contributes to fewer births.

Plow
a large farming tool with blades that dig into the earth, or a large, curved blade fixed to the front of a vehicle that moves snow or sand

Deforestation
the cutting down of trees in a large area, or the destruction of forests by people
Sustainable
causing, or made in a way that causes, little or no damage to the environment and therefore able to continue for a long time
Desertification
the process by which land changes into desert, for example because there has been too much farming activity on it or because a lot of trees have been cut down
