General Features of NK cells
A
- originate from bone marrow
- live for about a week
- are found in the blood, spleen, and liver
- migrate to tissues during inflammation
- do not possess receptors (TCR, BCR)

- chemotactic: direct cells to site of infection
- cytokine: activate the NK cells
- adhesion: help ensure survival of NK cells at the site of infection

Describe the morphology of NK cells
A
- called large granular lymphocytes
- contain lyric granules
