Angwin
- Town of Angwin, located in Howell Mountain, only mountain AVA with its own town
- Interestingly, town’s founder, Edwin Angwin, sold nearly 2,000 acres of what would today be considered prime vineyard land to the (alcohol free!) Seventh-day Adventist Church in 1909, which established the Pacific Union College on the property
- Prior to Angwin’s ownership, the land had been part of the second grant given to George C. Yount, the Rancho La Jota, in 1843
