Q

What is the purpose of O-Level MMP?

A

To provide a consolidated source of information that must be considered when planning long-term maintenance workload. The objective of the MMP is to plan the accomplishment of major scheduled maintenance events such as aircraft transfers/receipts, depot rework, phase inspections, high time engine and component replacements, in order to effectively produce the required number of aircraft, equipment, and systems to support upcoming flight operations, detachments and deployments.

22
Q

Maintenance Control will review WOs initiated by Work Centers for correct coding and modify as required prior to approval. Maintenance control has the option to modify all fields of WO except?

A

BUNO, Assembly Cd, and TM

23
Q

Who will Maintenance Control verify all WO data fields for accuracy to correct modifiable fields in the ALS Que prior to submitting up line through the approval process?

A

Data Base Administrator

24
Q

What color within the ALS Que modifiable fields indicate the field can be modified on the majority of data fields?

A

Fields are indicated being a different color than the majority of data fields (often white)
Modifications are limited to fields due to type of corrective actions and type of WO.

25
Q

Who will issue all work requests?

A

Maintenance Control

26
Q

What are the general procedures for Work requests?

A

Create WO, an E Block (Removed Item) entry on all WOs for items to be turned into I-level
verify E block data against Auto Log Set (verifying Cage, PN,& WUC), and must be kept on file until return/replacement/action is completed.

27
Q

What is required for all WOs for items to be turned into the I-level on a Work Request?

A

An E Block (Removed Item) entry is required

28
Q

What must be verified for E Block Data ?

A

E Block data must be verified against the Auto Log Set for accuracy of Cage, Part Number, and WUC

29
Q

How long should work requests be kept?

A

Work requests are the receipt for accepting the equipment, and must be kept in file until return of the specific item or replacement item, or until action is completed.

30
Q

When is it not required for an E Block entry on a work request?

A

Work requests for work done on the aircraft or on-site without turn-in do not require an E Block entry.

31
Q

T/F: Assembled A-series components are normally not stocked. Maintenance Control will coordinate withe the IMA for repair of A-series components

A

True

32
Q

What will maintain an OOMA NALCOMIS Automated Aircraft Discrepancy Book (AADM) for each assigned aircraft?

A

Maintenance Control

33
Q

When will hardcopy ADBs only be used?

A

Will only be used to maintain items required to determine Safe for Flight or when AADB has not functionality and item is considered essential information. Ex: Oil consumption, power checks, weight and balance forms, T/M/S peculiar requirements.

34
Q

How often must the ADB/AADB be validated against the Work Load Report for completed and outstanding WOs?

A

At least daily

35
Q

What must accurately reflect the current status of all pending maintenance requirements and must be validated against the Work Load Report?

A

ADB/AADB (aircraft discrepancy book)

36
Q

At a minimum, the ADB/AADB must include what content?

A

1) A-Sheet (Aircraft Inspection and Acceptance Record / OPNAV 4790/141) *for at least the last 10 flights
2)WOs for all active maintenance requirements that have not been completed, regardless of age
3)WOs for maintenance and inspections completed within the last 10 flights
4)The control document (mother maf) for each type of Special or Phase inspection will be retained in the AADM until completion of the next like inspection regardless of age
5)Aircraft with an onboard Health Monitoring System(HMS), such as F/A-18 and EA-18 Automated Maintenance Environment (FAME), will contain HMS data generated from the last 10 flights
6)the most current completed Daily and/or Turnaround Inspection

37
Q

How long are the Aircraft Inspection and Acceptance Record (OPNAV 4790/141) kept in ADB?

A

kept for at least last 10 flights

38
Q

How long will the control document for each type of Special/Phase inspection be retained in AADB?

A

Will be retained in AADB until completion of the next like inspection, regardless of age.

39
Q

How often will the AADB Summary Page will be backed up in PDF format on external media source?

A

Prior to each flight AFTER aircrew signs the A-Sheet and at the end of each shift.

40
Q

Who will be familiar with the process of performing an AADB Backup?

A

Maintenance Control personnel

41
Q

What form is the Naval Flight Information Record (NAVFLIR)?

A

OPNAV 3710/4

42
Q

Who will ensure the pilot or aircraft commander enter NAVFLIR into OOMA immediately after each flight?

A

Maintenance Control

43
Q

Who is responsible for complete and accurate NAVFLIR data?

A

pilot or aircraft commander

44
Q

When will NAVFLIR be entered in OOMA?

A

Immediately after each flight

45
Q

Why is NAVFLIR entry into NALCOMIS crucial?

A

Important for flight time accuracy and Safe for Flight certification process.

46
Q

If successive flights occur during operations away from home base, for example, during a cross-country flight, and the pilot documents each flight on individual NAVFLIRs vice documenting them as multiple legs on one NAVFLIR, What will Maintenance Control ensure happens? What blocks will need a brief explanation?

A

Maintenance Control will ensure a separate “A” sheet for each NAVFLIR is entered into OOMA with any maintenance actions that occurred. This will allow for the proper alignment of the last ten “A” Sheets, flight records and work order documentation within the OOMA AADB. In such cases the pilot’s name and grade should be entered into the Released by and Accepted blocks with a brief explanation in the Special Equipment Box, for example, “Cross Country Flight.”

47
Q

What are the 2 most critical responsibilities of Maintenance Control?

A

Certifying and releasing an aircraft Safe for Flight(SFF) and the acceptance of the aircraft by the aircrew.

48
Q

Who will designate in writing all personnel authorized to verify aircraft SFF?

A

Commanding Officer (CO)
