What do myths attempt to explain?
Physical, emotional and spiritual things. Not only literally and realistically but also figuratively and metaphorically as well.

What are the five ages of man?
Age of gold Age of silver Age of bronze Age of heroes Age of iron
Describe the age of gold
A golden race of mortal humans. Cronus was king. Lived without toil or trouble, did not endure old age and loved in harmony with all living things.
Describe the age of silver?
Second race of man made by Olympians. Inferior to the golden age mortals, arrogant and lived a short amount of time.
Describe age of bronze
The second race by Zeus. Mighty and terrible, they were made of bronze and everything they owned was bronze. They were destroyed by their own hands.
Describe age of heroes
The fourth race made by Zeus. Valiant in war and just, they were called Demi-gods. Evil war and dread destroyed most of them. They all went to Elysium.
Age of iron.
Another race after age of heroes. They never cease from toil. Good and evil will be mingled. They will have little respect for the gods.
