A

the son of Aphrodite, god of love. He shot Medea with an arrow of love to help out Jason ( plan of Hera and Aphrodite). = God’s intervention. Presents realism as a spoiled brat rather than a powerful god and bribed to fulfill plan.

A

leader of Argonauts and was tasked to get the Golden Fleece. Sent by Pelias to prove he is worthy of the throne in Iolcos. He is an ordinary realistic hero and mortal compared to herakles.
