- Antibodies block and destroy ACH at neuro junctions

- Muscle weakness that is worse with exercise improves with rest
- Dyplopia
- Diff swallowing
- SHOB
- Thymus Hyperplasia
- Drooping eyelids

- EMG
- repetive nerve stimulation test
- tensilon test differentiates btwn MG and cholinergic crisis

Antidote for Cholinergic Crisis
A
Atropine

Tx
A
- Nyostigme, Pyridostigme cholinergic agents!
- immunosupressants
- Plasmapheresis
- thymectomy

Nursing Care
A
- AIRWAY Patent!!
- Asist with ambulation
- Encourage Rest
- Aspiration/ Choking Risk
- Frequent small high calorie meals
- Administer eye drops and tape eyes shut at night
