To buy and sell humans as property.
Patron
A person who gives financial support to another person or cause.
Conquistador
A group of Spanish soldiers. Conquerors.
Expedition
An organized journey.
Empire
A group of nations or people ruled by a single group of leader.
Circumnavigate
To sail completely around the world.
Colony
A settlement or area far from the country that rules it.
Columbian Exchange
A movement of people, animal, plants, cultures, and even diseases between the Eastern and Western Hemisphere.
Epidemic
An outbreak of disease that spreads quickly and affects many people.
